Post 8: Between balls and wheels

Hi everyone, in this last post I would like to talk about sports. Maybe I have two favourite sports, one of these is the soccer and another is going out on bike. The first has been my favourite since I was a little child because my father was fan of Colo Colo, and together went to the stadium for watching some matches between Colo Colo against another teams, that it’s a beautiful remember. In the actuality, I play soccer with my university’s friends, and we have a team that is called “Robo Hormiga”, we play ever Saturday and we spent a great time, it doesn’t matter if we lose or win, because the important is play between friends. 

Another favourite sport is Bike. Yes!!! I love going out by bike, because I feel very good physical and mentally. I like to go to the park, to my girlfriend and friend’s house , or simply going out with my dog to some places in the city.

Yes, it’s true, the final post in this subject is done, I´m feel happy because “English IV” and all the English subjects for me has been a great beautiful experience.

Post 7: I'm green or not?

Hi my friends. Today the topic is about of this question “How green are you?” and next answers is in here:

- Where do people learn about environmentally friendly practices?
Maybe the question should be “Where the people should learn about….” because, actually, the people really don’t have education about that. But maybe, you can learn about the environmentally friendly practices in some colleges, but the most important should be learn in your own home.
- Have you incorporated recycling into your habits? Describe.
So so, the true is that I try to recollected weekly the plastic bottles and leaves on the big recycle box  of the municipality.
- Do you use a bike or your legs instead of a car?
In some case yes, in fact, I prefer go to the university by bike that by car.
- Have you joined or supported any eco-organisations? Why/Why not?   
No, Just by internet, nothing monetary.
- What else have you done /would you like to do?
I would like to belong a communal organization where I can teach to the children how the earth and the environment care
- What have you done to reduce your carbon footprint?
Yes, for example, each winter I plant some plants or trees in the garden, and this way I reduce the carbon footprint of my family.

Post 6: My music is called "Smashing Pumpkins"

 Hi friends, not friends, people I know, or someday I knew, it doesn’t matter, the really important is that  you are watching my blog, and that it’s the beautiful to this tool calle Internet, the wonderful Internet! Or San Internet jajaja. Ok everybody, today I’ll talk to you about music, yes! The music, one of the most beautiful thing that could create the humanity. I don’t know, for me the music it’s so important, it’s like a feeling, I mean, without music the life, as we know it, it can’t exist, maybe I exaggerate, but I really think the music help and join to many people in the world, maybe the 98%.

Well, in my case, I have my favourite band, since I was a little child (14 years ago exactly), and is called “The Smashing Pumpkins”, They comes from Chicago of the EEUU, and have a music style very peculiar, in fact, for someone they have a unique style of rock in the world, but  it’s seems to called “alternative rock”. They began to play and appear in MTV the same time when bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, between others, was began to be important in the “grunge” movement. I remember when I was 11 years old, my major brother Diego (I love you bro), listened this band, and he talk me about them, he told me about the sounds an melodies of this band, and together, when our family traveled in vacations , we listened the cd all the travel, again, again, and again. Well, and that’s the way how I began to love this band, until now I listened ever opportunity as much I can. The Smashing Pumpkins for me it’s like a feeling, my lover, my partner, I don’t know, it’s everything for me.

Post 4: Only some Pandas

Hi everyone. Something it’s sure, “The world is changing”, yes! Don’t you know it???? Yes it is, all the people in the world knows or feel that something is changing. But, I ask me, it’s affecting to us ??? to our lives??? to our thinking’s form??? Since my point of view, yes, the world is changing, but my life is the same, I spent the most of my time studying and working,  and that its all, it’s like a vicious circle that don’t have a finish.

Well, sincerely, I’m not a scientific discoveries fan, but there are something, that it call my attention, for example, the last week I saw one news about the panda bear’s extinction, and well, as you imagine it’s a very hard situation, because the pandas without human’s helping they will disappear in the next 50 years, that something horrible, for me and should be horrible too for all the humanity, but lamentably, this don’t happen for all the people, in fact, product by anthropic  effects  the pandas are in dangers problems of conservation. I hope that the world finish with the killers of the biodiversity, and grow up more people with culture and an education about the animals cares. See you soon! and don’t forget. Care the earth!

Post 3: Let me think... FRANCE!!!

Hi again, hi everyone, well, I’ve so tired with this semester, it has been one of the most complicated in all my life like a student, but what I can do, just studying and studying and studying. Well, this topic will talk about some place, country or city that I would like to visit. I’ve thinking and I believe that one of the most beautiful in the earth is France; I don’t know it’s some kind of paradise, with beautiful places to visit, many wonderful green areas, constructions, churches, places with a lot of history, and that it’s the attractive mains for go to these country. 

Obviously, all the people in the world knows France by internet images, television etc., but just some people has could visit this country.  In France I would like to go to all the cities as much I can, because all of them has a kind of attractiveness. And If you ask me what I would like to do in France, I’d love to live there, because life’ quality its very good, and it’s a country so quiet to building a family in peace. Bye Bye!!!

Post 2: A New and Strange Term

Hi everyone, well, what can i say about this strange  term, I don’t know, maybe is a opportunity to organize better than ever, i say that because its something so different to be a student in this times, i mean what peoples studying in summers???? Can anybody tell me how they do it to reach yours objectives or simply getting pretty good marks. Well, in my case, my expectations is about to reach my graduate at least, because this  is my last semester in the university, and I hope to improve all my subjects that I taked. My subjects in this semester are “Forest Politic”, “Territory’s management”, “Use and soil’s conservation”, “Areas protected Gestation”,  “English IV”, “Title 2” and the last it’s elective subject  called “Web Pages: Design and maintenance”. As you can see I have a lot of subjects, but I repeat, I hope that this semester, and the most important, it finish perfect for me.

The Hemispheres of the Society

Hi everybody!

No!!! I can't belevie it, but it's true. The classes has begun again, and English IV too.

Okey, this time i talk to you about "talk" called, The "Divided Brain", by Ian Mc Gilchrist.

Mainly the narrator, Ian  Mc Gilchrist, explains that the brain hemispheres works deeply together, not as some scientists explain, which separate the Reason and emotion in different hemispheres, as well as with language and vision, this latter is absolutely false.

Another thing important that Ian talk us it's about the way that the human percieve the world, and how this affect to our behaviour as society. All this is product from the complete connection between both hemispheres, that is the union between the emotional and the rational
 

But the most importatn about this speech is the relationship between how works our brains and the way that modern society has been built during the time, with wars, racism and social injustice.

In my opinion, after hearing this excellent speech, I choose a phrase that sums up our society based on the functioning of our brain:

"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithfull servent, we have created a society that honours the servent, but has forgotten the gift" ...........Just Think about it.
